WOW offers free playing time
The World of Warcraft is now offering a month of free playing time for those who can convince former players to come back again to the game. The system works by sending a “Scroll of Resurrection” to friends who have stopped playing, if they would decide to return then the person who sent the invitation will get 1 month worth of game time for free. The ones that would be invited to comeback would also be receiving an incentive upon their return, they can play the Burning Crusade for free up to 10 days but would require them to be re-subscribed as a paying gamer for the person who invited them to receive the 1 month’s worth of free game time. This is very similar to the WoW’s recruit-a-friend program but this promotion is actually targeted for players who have played the game but has already stopped.
